The image shows a topogaphic image of the eastern desert of Egypt and Sinai. Wadi Feiran is the obvious west-east striking valley in the souther third of the Peninsula. the image was produced with the software World Wind and was part of a poster presented at the 4th International conference for the geology of Africa in Assuit in November 2005.
